Our Cylinders

Thermal stores have a different way to supply hot water to your home, forcing the mains pressure cold water through a heater exchangers coil. This will then draw heat from the surrounding thermal store, to heat the water that comes through to the taps. 

Our team deal with open vented, unvented and thermal store cylinders, as well as providing roof storage tank repairs and installations.

Unvented cylinders are pressurised, which are fed from cold water mains through a valve and can be heated directly through an immersion heater, or indirectly through a boiler, heat pump etc.

An unvented cylinder can be very flexible and be run through renewable energy sources such as solar, heat pumps, and biomass heaters.
